Get a flu shot at Rite Aid and receive a booklet with $100 in coupons!

Posted August 20, 2010

I received an e-mail from Rite Aid marketing today about a little bonus they are offering when you get the flu shot. Here are the details from the e-mail:

"Rite Aid pharmacists are now offering flu shots for $24.99 at more than 3,000 pharmacies nationwide. But it's not just your health you're saving. Anyone who gets a flu shot at Rite Aid will receive a free coupon booklet that offers $100 in savings, while supplies last. And for the first time this year, all wellness+ members who receive a flu shot from Rite Aid pharmacists will receive credit for a prescription filled and get 25 wellness+ points putting them that much closer to the next saving tier or health screening (except for the prescriptions exempted by law including prescriptions paid for by federal healthcare or those filled in New York or New Jersey)."

So there you go: get flu shot - get coupons!

The ped dr recommmended we wait another month or so as well - the coupon booklets will probably still be there!

It's really too early to get it so I'm going to wait a few weeks. I used to work in pediatric practices and we didn't do flu shot clinics till October.
