Free Lowes Build and Grow kids clinic on Saturday August 14 from 10 AM – 11 AM. The kids will be building a beetle shaped box to hold their little treasures. As of Thursday evening there were still open seats at many Triangle area Lowe’s home improvement centers including Garner, Knightdale, N Raleigh, Raleigh, Apex, Smithfield and Erwin. If you are going, make sure you register first (and soon). I have seen some of these Saturday building sessions fill up.

Free Minute Maid smoothies this Saturday at Boston Markets in NC according to The Consumerist. I haven’t called the local stores yet to verify they are participating (because it's 2:00  am and I am guessing they are closed), but I’ll do it a little later on Friday morning (unless someone beats me to it and posts if their local store is participating).
