HT shopping trip - 90% savings!

Here are the totals from my Harris Teeter shopping this week. I am loving that Kellogg's Catalina deal! It's a great way to stock up on breakfast cereals and snack time granola bars for the kids to enjoy when they head back to school. If you end up with a few extras, I am sure the food banks would be grateful to receive them.

I bought all the items in the picture on Wednesday for $15.75 and earned a $10 register coupon to use on my next order!  The regular retail value of those items is $122.87 before sales and coupons.

I made another trip to HT today and bought $35 worth of Kellogg's cereals and Nutrigrain bars for 68 cents using coupons, the 50% off sale and the $10 register coupon I received the day before!

The total for the 3 transactions before sales and coupons: $157.87

Total paid: $16.43

% Saved: 90% savings!

So, what is your favorite flavor of Frosted Mini Wheats? There are about 80 varieties it seems! My kids really like the Strawberry flavor. I am a purist and prefer the regular original Frosted Mini Wheats that have soaked in skim milk for a few minutes so the mini wheats start to really soak up the milk.  What about you?
