Here are the totals from my Harris Teeter shopping this week. I am loving that Kellogg's Catalina deal! It's a great way to stock up on breakfast cereals and snack time granola bars for the kids to enjoy when they head back to school. If you end up with a few extras, I am sure the food banks would be grateful to receive them.
I bought all the items in the picture on Wednesday for $15.75 and earned a $10 register coupon to use on my next order! The regular retail value of those items is $122.87 before sales and coupons.
I made another trip to HT today and bought $35 worth of Kellogg's cereals and Nutrigrain bars for 68 cents using coupons, the 50% off sale and the $10 register coupon I received the day before!
The total for the 3 transactions before sales and coupons: $157.87
Total paid: $16.43
% Saved: 90% savings!
I purchased the items on Wednesday in 2 transactions (but made sure I did not have more than 20 coupons I wanted to double between the two). Many of the coupons I used were $1.00/2 coupons. For links to the coupons and details on the sale, click the Grocery Deals link in the box.
In case you did not already know, Harris Teeter has an awesome register coupon deal going on right now.
Buy any 10 Kellogg's, Keebler, Sunshine, Eggo, and Morningstar Farms products 3.8 oz or larger, any flavor, mix and match in one shopping order, save $10 on a future order. Valid 8/1/10-8/14/10.
There are a number of Kellogg’s products on sale 50% off, including cereal and Nutrigrain bars, that couple well with coupons to make this a great deal! The $10 coupon prints out at the register after you have bought the 10 items. Combine the recent insert coupons and printable coupons for Kellogg's cereals and granola bars and the 50% sale on the cereal and the deals are fabulous! The printable coupon links are in the box above. Don't worry, I didn't clear any shelves - there was a ton of cereal on the shelf.
So, what is your favorite flavor of Frosted Mini Wheats? There are about 80 varieties it seems! My kids really like the Strawberry flavor. I am a purist and prefer the regular original Frosted Mini Wheats that have soaked in skim milk for a few minutes so the mini wheats start to really soak up the milk. What about you?
