Now that is amazing, auntbepe! I love it when stores give such good customer service. Thank you for sharing your experience and enjoy all those freebies! Kudos to the Wilson Walgreens!

I went to the Wilson Walgreens yesterday and they originally had no idea about the sale and no flyers. After calling three people to the register, the manager of the store was aware that they did not receive the ad flyers. I printed out my online ad flyer and brought it with me to the store. They honored all of the ad deals and gave me the crest toothpaste, sure deoderant and oral B toothbrushes for FREE. Because they were not sure if the RR would print out they just made the items ring up at the register as "$0". (This is with the coupon for the deoderant) I also took advantange of the pepsi deals. They did ring up correctly at the register and the RR printed out properly. Thanks Faye for all of the helpful information!

Excellent shaking boomer - thanks for sharing the Celcius coupon info!

"Shake that money maker", as George Thorgood would sing. $3 coupon on Celcius Green Tea 4 pak. But it is from 4/25/10 SS & exp 7/31/10. Net is $2 profit.

Here's the deal - I just spoke with corporate and the 4-Day sale is good at ALL stores. The CSR said that our district was apparently left off the mailing for the ads and the district manager did not get the info out to our stores to alert them. Customer service was also going to let marketing know that it was not showing up on the online ads as well for this area. She said that the RR's should print and if not, to call customer service (1-800-925-4733). While I on hold, she also spoke with the manager at my local store (40/42) and they are now aware of the sale. Sooooo - I am printing out the 4-Day ad online and bringing it in with me. I'll let you know if there are any issues with the RR's printing later today. We shall see. If anyone else buys the advertised 4-day items, let us know if your RR's print.

When I go to the Walgreens website and choose a local store under store location, this ad does not show. Apparently it is not available in all parts of the country.

FYI - I went to Walgreen's to get some free Crest today and they had no 4-day sale flyers and had no idea what I was talking about. I'll call corporate tomorrow to get the scoop but for now - be aware, your store may not have the info. I plan on bringing the printed sale flyer from the online ad in to the store tomorrow to see if the deals ring up correctly and isse the correct RR's.

Hi wonderswhy - RR's (register rewards) are instant rebates and print out at the time of purchase as coupons. They print out from a separate coupon machine and are manufacturer's coupons with the Walgreen's logo on them. Some HT's wil take RR's but many are not anymore. If you go to the first page of this blog by clicking on the Smart Shopper logo at the top of the page, you can read a summary of the Walgreen's Register Reward program. Hope that helps!

Are register rewards instant? I have never used them before, so I am not sure how they work.

    Thanks!
