Thanks for the Kroger Ball Park deal, lesliemichele!

  • Faye Prosser - Smart Shopper Jul 2, 2010

Check your e-mail kpeele. Maybe I can still help. :-)

Still no luck printing the FLIP coupons in IE or Firefox on any of our computers but that's OK-- guess we weren't supposed to get the free Capri Suns this time around. I can be happy with the other deals I got today using 1 Kraft and 3 Sweet Deals at FL: 6 cool whips, 6 Smuckers toppings, 3 packs of Real Fruit bars, Wheat Thins, Triscuits, Country Time Lemonade, and 2 Kraft Sandwich Shop Mayos all for $7. That's an average of $0.35 per item! AND my hubby willingly played "guess how much I paid for all this" when I got home. I did find out that the FL in Fuquay (the one near TSC) didn't allow me to do 2 Sweet Deals in one transaction although the ad doesn't state a limit like it does for the Kraft deal. The clerk was very helpful and helped me resolve the situation even though I was there right at closing time!

Kroger also has an online coupon for .75 off one ball park, making them .24 with sale price. Load the coupon to your rewards card and scan at checkout! There are also online coupons for Poptarts and other items included in the Daytona 500 sale... resulting in even more savings!

  • Faye Prosser - Smart Shopper Jul 1, 2010

Hmmm... not sure why it's not working for you. You can't find them on the FL site. Here is another option:

Go to www.hotcouponworld.com. Click on Forums. Click on Grocery Stores. Click on Food Lion. Click on FLIPS for 6/30. You should find a link that works there. Let me know if you have any problems. :-)

  • kpeele Jul 1, 2010

Faye, any tips for printing the FL coupons? When I follow your link it says these coupons have already printed for the week (but I haven't printed any yet). When I try to find them straight from the FL website I see other coupons but can't find the ones you've mentioned here. Thanks!

Very "sweet" deal, april! Thanks for sharing.

Many Food Lions will let you combine a store and MQ, but not all. Mine has no issues with it and I usually use the self check and they both scan just fine.

  • aprilmiller Jul 1, 2010

Alright Food Lion! Had a great time scooping up those instant "rebates" this morning. Shout out to the wonderful (and patient) cashier Tina at the Laura Dunkin Food Lion in Apex!

FYI: The Smuckers Toppings deal is better at Food Lion. They are 3/$5 AND listed in the "Sweet Deal" so I threw 2 $1/2 coupons on four fudgy toppings (.16 each!), added in a Birdseye Strawberry (also 3/$5 and part of the "Sweet Deal") to round out my required "5 items" and I paid $1.41 total including tax! I didn't need a 6th Cool Whip or the deal would have been even SWEETER!

ALSO: found a kiosk in the freezer area with a "Cool off this summer with dairy" Food Lion Cow brochure filled with 11 Store coupons including $1/2 Kraft Singles or Cream cheese tubs, $1 on 4 Breyers yogurts, $1/2 Sargento Shredded cheese, and more (including $1 on 2 Borden Cheese slices and the picture shows the new Borden Sensations that have the $1 coupons right now -- can you put a MQ with a store coupon at Food Lion Faye???)

  • HappyGirl08 Jul 1, 2010

Well, I did the cool whip deal last night and got 5. I didn't know you could do it more than once on the same MVP card but seriously I have no room for 10 cool whips and I don't need any ice cream so, I will let someone else have those. haha

I'm going to kroger tonight to pick up a few things since its near a home depot and that is where I was going anyway. Thought about going last night but w/all of the I-40 traffic funneling through there b/c the road was closed, I sure didn't feel the need to get caught up in that!

  • Faye Prosser - Smart Shopper Jun 30, 2010

Oh my - what a deal on Capri Sun with the Food Lion printable coupons! It sells for $2.07 regular price so only .07 after the $2 printable coupon I posted!

I also printed out my little sheet of coupons at the Food Lion coupon kiosk today and it printed out a .50/2 FL shredded sheese coupon. The shredded cheese is on sale BOGO for $1.00 each. After sale and coupon it is only .75 each for 8 oz shredded cheese - a very good buy!

AND - I got the 5 Cool Whips for $1 each and it took off $5 instantly. Hello free cool whip! I did the Cool Whip deal twice using the same MVP card and the discount came off both times so 10 free Cool Whips. Hmmm...what to do with 10 free Cool Whips? Suggestions? I'm thinking of a fun dessert dip for the kids on July 4th. Big plate of cut fruit and all the Cool Whip they can stand to dip it in. I am loving some Food Lion this week.
