I did a little Super Doubles shopping at Harris Teeter after the class at Wake Tech today and scored some fab deals - here are the totals and the picture of the groceries I bought.

Subtotal before sales and coupons: $85.09

Total saved: $84.06

Total spent: $1.03

% saved: 99%!

In addition to using a coupon for each item, I also used a $5 off $60 catalina (register) coupon that printed out at Food Lion earlier in the week and a number of the free product coupons I received from the Kraft First Taste of Summer coupon book I posted on the blog a few weeks ago. I also used a free Wholly Guacamole coupon my daughter was sent for winning the youngest entry award on the Facebook Wholly Guac jingle contest I also posted about on the blog a couple weeks ago. She came up with the jingle so I posted her entry through my Facebook account and indicated that it was my 8 year old who created it and she won the youngest entry award. They sent us a couple of free coupons as well as a cooler, apron, mini first aid kit and more!

Today I shopped at the HT at Kildaire Farm and Ten Ten Road and I was very impressed. The customer service from the young cashier Bryan was excellent and the customer service manager, John, who did the overrides for the free coupons was super friendly and supportive of the whole coupon thing. I was really pleasantly surprised with the amount of product they had in the store on at Saturday during super doubles. Hurray for Super Doubles!

Feel free to post any other Super Double totals or stories on this thread since the first thread has moved to the next page.

Also - here's a shout out to the ladies who took the Coupon Camp at Wake Tech today. It was great to spend the day with you and I can't wait to hear all about your savings! Wasn't that nice of Lowes Foods to give away the recyclable grocery bags to everyone on our fun little field trip?
