Now that is unfortunate, Jen! Thanks for letting us know. It's hit or miss with the printable BOGO coupons at HT. Some stores take them, some don't because there is a free product involved and they don't take printable coupons for free products.

  • jenstog Jun 21, 2010

I also could not use my facebook Nabisco 100 cal coupon at the HT at Leesville Road & Strickland. Same rule regarding not accepting any internet coupons for free products.

Went to Food Lion this morning and found that the Ultra Cottonelle 12pk was 4.99 also and I used a $4 off Cataline coupon I had for the ULTRA kind only and got a 12pk of toilet paper for $0.99. GREAT DEAL!

BIG FYI ON THE KRAFT CHEESE DEAL AT HT: The buy 3 get $3 off automatically only works for the cheddar cheese varieties. I went today to the HT on 6 forks and bought a couple cheddar bricks and a mozz brick. No $3 off. We went back to dairy and apparently it's only those items with the tag in front of them. The manager confirmed it's only the cheddar. I don't know why they didn;t include other flavors, but now you know. I didn;t get the mozz and instead got the qualifying items. Total for 3 8 oz bricks after sale ($1.69 each), $1/2 coupon from Penguin display and $3 off promo (which came off during that transaction) = $1.11 (.37 each including tax!).

AND, if that's not good enough for you - the $2.00 off chunk cheese printable coupon for Food Lion gets you a FREE 8 oz brick of Food Lion brand cheese. The price is $2 - $2.00 coupon = FREE! Just click on the link in the box above for Food Lion printable coupons. The Food Lion pasta is also on sale for $1.09 - $1 printable coupon at the

Well that is odd. I'm pretty sure I've used some BOGO internet coupons before at my HT in Chapel Hill. OH well, I guess it depends on your store.

  • kmhosig Jun 17, 2010

Update to HT coupon issue. So I went to the HT that I called this morning and tried to use my coupon again and of course I couldn't use it. Even after I said that I called and spoke to someone. Apparently if it has any mention of "FREE" on it and it was printed from the internet then they don't accept it. Top that off with the fact that the cashier had already written on my coupon and trown it in the trash so now I really can't use it anywhere!

  • kmhosig Jun 17, 2010

Buyer Beware! Stopped by the HT on 401 & Ten-ten. Tried to use the BOGO Internet coupon for 100 Calorie Packs. Was told that they didn't accept any "FREE" internet coupons, even a BOGO. It has to indicate dollars or cents. I am pretty sure I have used a similar coupon in the past. Very bummed as it was a wasted trip on the way to work! I called the HT near my office and was just told that you can use 1. So I guess I will be making another trip out at lunch.
