I LOVE today's deals from WRAL Team Buying, Twongo and Groupon! I am especially pleased to see the Team Buying deal because it's for a Johnston County restaurant in my neck of the woods (which rarely happens with Twongo and Groupon). I also love the bowling Groupon because it's summer and I am looking for all the frugal fun we can find!
WRAL Team Buying deal of the day (which I have already purchased!): $10.00 for dinner for 2 valued at $25.00 at the Cleveland Draft House in the Garner-40/42 area. I am so happy to see a deal like this in the Garner/Cleveland area of the Triangle (that doesn't require a minimum purchase like restaurant.com does). I have eaten at the Cleveland Draft House many times and we really like the food. The bar is in a totally different room than the restaurant, which I prefer when I am out with the family.

Groupon deal of the day (which I have also already purchased!): $11 for 4 games of bowling and 2 shoe rentals at Buffaloe Lanes. Here is the fine print from their website: "Expires Dec 12, 2010, Limit 2 per person. Limit 1 per visit, 2 per group of 4. Not valid with other offers. Not valid after 10:30 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. Your Groupon is good for any of four locations—Fayetteville Road in South Raleigh, Oak Forest Drive in North Raleigh, High House Road in Cary, and West Jackson Boulevard in Erwin. "
Regular shoe rental price is $3 and regular cost per game is $3.20 - $3.70 depending on when you bowl. So, the regular cost to bowl 2 games with shoe rental is at least $9.40 per person. With this Groupon deal is it only $5.50 per person! FYI - they also have a deal on Tuesdays for $2 games and $2 shoe rental making it $6 for 2 games and shoe rental. The Groupon is still a better deal and can be used any day of the week!
Twongo deal of the day: Up to 55% off Cafe Parizade in Durham. When we lived in a Durham years ago, we ate at this restaurant many times and we always loved it! The deal will save you up to 55% off depending on the number of deals they sell. As of right now it's at $22 for $40 worth of Mediterranean inspired cuisine and drinks. As more people buy the deal, the percent you save gets higher and higher. If enough people buy it, the savings is 55% and you pay $18! Here is the fine print from the website: Purchase up to TWO vouchers, Use ONE voucher per couple per visit, Tax and gratuity not included, Cannot be combined with other offers or discounts, No cash value, Starts: June 11, 2010, Voucher Expires: 10/01/2010
