Join me at the WRAL Wellness Weekend May 22 and May 23!

Posted May 19, 2010

The WRAL Wellness Weekend event is this weekend, May 22 and May 23. Join us for this FREE event at the NC State Fairgrounds in the Jim Graham Building.

There will be activities for the whole family, including health tests, screenings, interactive sports activities, simulators, cooking demonstrations, rock climbing, and more! WRAL anchors and reporters will be at the WRAL booth each day to chat with folks and Sarah from Go Ask Mom will be at the WRAL booth on Saturday morning.

I'll be at the WRAL booth on Sunday, May 23 from 10:00 am - 1:30 pm.  Then I head to the healthy cooking stage to whip up a batch of healthy and delicious baked ravioli and chat about the fabulous benefits of meal planning.  Did I mention there will be sampling of that yummy batch of ravioli?!

Hours for the event are Saturday from 10:00 am - 5:00 pm and Sunday from 10:00 am - 5:00 pm. Not only is admission free, but the parking is free as well!

I hope to see you there!

Hi j - Rite Aid allows you to use transfer coupons every 6 months per person. CVS has no limits in place that I can find. They let me go back and forth almost every other month with coupons. Kerr has no limits that I have seen (although the Kerr I went to just closed so I need to find another one I drive near). CVS takes competitors transfer coupons as well. Target has no limits on the coupons. I think this may be the topic of today's article! Thanks for the idea j!

This sounds fun! I bet my 8 year old especially would love it. He's into sports but also loves watching Food Network. On a sorta related wellness/health note, maybe I missed it, but did you give a primer somewhere on your blog about Rx transfer coupon usage? For instance, I am now on a new monthly medication. Is there a limit to how many times I can transfer that around back and forth between pharmacies? I need to go pick up my first refill today, and I just cringe knowing I'm going to pick it up from the same store I got the original...thereby not being able to use a coupon. :) Thanks for everything!
