Addition to Lowes Foods list: Apple and Eve Fruitables are on sale at Lowes Foods this week for $1.99. Use the $1.00 coupon from the 3/21 inserts (if you still have it - I actually did). Total after sale and coupon = .99

  • Faye Prosser - Smart Shopper May 13, 2010

FYI - I just finished a quick shop at Lowes Foods and made 2 changes to the deals list above and added a bread deal.

The Red Barron Pan Pizza variety is not included in the $3.99 sale so it's not a good deal even with the $1.50 pan pizza coupon.

I originally miscalculated the dial soap deal, thinking you only needed to buy 2 to get the $2 FRC. We actually need to buy 4 to get the deal. After recalculating, the total for each 3-pack after 4 coupons and FRC = .80 (.26 per bar). Still a good deal, just not as good.

Also, the Natures Own Premium Bread is on sale for $2.49 and there is a .75 printable coupon at www.coupons.com. The total after sale and coupon doubled = .99 - a very good price for whole wheat, multigrain bread. Each slice of the multigrain has 80 calories, 1.5 gr fat and 3 grams of fiber!

Thanks Faye! I bought the rolls...I may pop on over to HT customer service tomorrow and see what they say. Thanks again!

  • Faye Prosser - Smart Shopper May 12, 2010

Sarah, did you buy the pizza or pizza rolls? The cat only prints out on the rolls. The Cat info is right in the ad on the page with all the Shrek-tacular savings info. I would have gone to customer service where they probably would have given me the cat $ in cash (which HT has done before). Your next option is to call the Catalina company at (877) 210-1917, option 1 and they will probably send you the Catalina coupon. Make sure you have your receipt on hand when you call. Hope that helps!

  • sarahpeck1328 May 12, 2010

Hi Faye! Love your tips! I just went to the NH Teeter to do my shop, and did not get a catalina with my Totinos. :-( Is it only active at certain stores?

  • j3434 May 12, 2010

oh, i just noticed! hot dogs at ht! yippee! time for 2nd birthday party, and hot dogs are on the menu!

  • Faye Prosser - Smart Shopper May 12, 2010

Walmart had green apples for .73/lb last week, but not sure of the price this week - and not sure you want that many green apples!

  • j3434 May 12, 2010
