Psst...check your CVS for 90% off Easter!

Posted April 18, 2010

My local CVS (40/42 area between Garner and Clayton) went to 90% off on Easter clearance this morning. I was there at 1:30 pm and they still had a bunch of filled Easter baskets with toys and candy, empty baskets, chocolate bunnies, stuffed animals, jelly beans and more. The chocolates can be frozen and the stuffed animals are great to hold onto for next year.

I bought a filled basket with a full size soccer ball, a mini soccer ball and candy for $1.49 (reg $14.99). I also bought another one with tons of bubble stuff and candy for $1.29 (reg $12.99).  They also had CVS brand 1 lb solid chocolate bunnies for .35! I bought one and froze it to use for baking at a later date. They also had a bunch of cadbury eggs for .09 and russel stovers singles for .09 each.

I bought a bunch of 90% off candy to hand out at the Smart Shopper booth at the Southern Women's Show next weekend so be sure to stop by and get some chocolate! Of course I had ECB's and a CVS gift card (from transferring a prescription this week) so I paid nothing for my haul!

Hope you find some good buys. :-)

Heavens no Faye LOL - there is WAY too much candy in this house between Valentines day sales (still have Dove hearts!) and now Easter - time to share with neighbors :)

It's either that or watch it show up on hips LOL

Maybe your store will be at 90% off very soon and then you can stock up even more, Nancy! :-)

Oh you're so lucky LOL! The CVS I hit today in Holly Springs had it at 75% off and I stocked up on the Russell Stover eggs, my hubby loves those - paid 19 cents each but 9 cents each would have been incredible!!!

They were loaded too, obviously that store doesn't get as much traffic or something because my normal CVS has almost nothing left.
