Prescription transfer coupons and more in Sunday flyers

Posted February 28, 2010

There are some good coupons in many of the sales ads this week - don't miss them:

Prescription Transfer Coupons in Sunday ads:

Kerr Drug - $25 transfer coupon

Rite Aid - $25 transfer coupon

Target - $10 with purchase of prescription and sign up for auto refill (which I imagine you can cancel later that day, if desired)

Other coupons and reward info:

Michael's craft store - 40% off 1 regular priced item coupon

AC Moore - 40% off 1 regular priced item coupon

KMart now has a rewards program called Shop Your Way Rewards. See more info at  Earn Rewards on all purchases made at Sears, Kmart, Lands' End at Sears,, and

Well, I've made my list of deals for CVS and Walgreens this coming Sunday :) Holy Moly! CVS is just busting out at the seams with ECB deals this coming week! So many free when rolled with ECB bucks one after the other. Lots of donations can be made of great items for nearly free :) I'm excited!

I will be getting $106 worth of goods at CVS for $25 after MQ's and ECB deals/sale prices. Woohoo!

Great news on the negative strep, j!

Thanks for answering the Target question, bo55! Too bad the coupon won't work on any prescriptions. As you pointed out,the wording on the newest coupons is different than in the past. It does not state it has to be a transferred prescription, but it does specify that you have to sign up for auto refill to use the coupon, which a one time script won't have (not that you need it today anyway).

mbertoncino - welcome to the blog - the secret decoder ring is found in boxes of Cookie Crunch Cereal sold between 1975 and 1979. :-)

There is a link to deciphering the code on the home page of the blog. Click on my head at the top of this page and then look in the 4 boxes on the home page for the abbreviations section. If you have any other questions don't hesitate to ask.

well, darn, thanks for the info! turns out, negative strep test, yippeee!!! hoping it's just a cold that goes away soon anyway. :)

j3434, no, Target will not let you use the coupon for a one time prescription. I tried to use it to fill my wife's antibiotic prescription yesterday and they wouldn't let me. Target has put that new twist on their coupon that they had not previously had; previously any new prescription could be used with the coupon.

Does anyone know if the Target coupon will work if you have a one-off prescription that has 0 refills? Oh, I hope so, because my son is going to the dr today...likely strep throat. I guess it's worth a try.

I am a newbie to this blog and the whole coupon cutting thing! Where do I find the "secret decoder ring" for all those fun abbreviations? Thanks!
