Kerr Drug
February 28 – March 6, 2010

Kerr Rewards Program: Kerr Drug has decided to enter the drug store rewards game with a new program called Kerr Rewards! You can get coupons at the register, rewards via e-mail and video rewards. See www.kerrdrug.com for all the details.

This week’s register coupons include:
Spend $10 - $14.99 and receive $2 off next shopping trip of $20 or more
Spend $15 - $19.99 and receive $5 off next shopping trip of $25 or more
Spend $20 or more and receive $10 off next shopping trip of $50 or more

I am happy to see Kerr drug offering rewards but I wish they didn’t require another larger purchase to use the rewards ($20 purchase required to use the $2 reward).

Prescription Transfer Coupon: $25 transfer coupon on page 1 of the sales ad this week. It doesn’t expire until 4/17.

In case you didn’t know – a number of Kerr Drug stores deliver for free! If you are too sick to get out, visit Kerr Drug for a list of locations offering free delivery.

I totally agree Nancy! Rite Aid also offers some great rebates, but I pass a CVS and Walgreens every day so I tend to do their rebates most. Thanks for sharing!

I think Kerr Drugs is finally entering the "want to keep/gain our market share" because they don't offer anything to entice customers. Even their sales are slim weekly.

I'll wait to see if they ramp up their game some, best deals are still at CVS and Walgreens for me. Although Walgreens has a lot of little nuances like the number of pieces of 'paper' used equal to items being purchased and not using RR from, let's say, P&G for other P&G purchases.

CVS is so straight forward, so much easier.

    Thanks Firedawg! Great idea!

My thanks to Maggie, who sent me an e-mail with some other creative suggestions:

    1. Sewing on buttons...especially for pants.

    2. My kids used it as a zip line for their action figures.

    3. Hanging Mobiles and art work from the ceiling!

    4. Halloween Decorative Spider Webs

    5. Staking up tomato plants

Unflavored dental floss is excellent for cutting soft things -- cookie dough in tubes, layer cakes (horizontally), even ice cream. Just wrap enough floss around the item so that it completely encircles the item and just slowly pull it tight. Also, use floss to clean around the base of sink faucet knobs after you've sprayed them with cleaner -- works better than a toothbrush. You just need a spray bottle with clean water to rinse the grime out so you can wipe it away.

Hi bo55 and mbertoncino - check out the home page of the blog and there is a link with abbreviations to help you crack the code! These are commonly used terms and abbreviations for couponers all over so now you can speak the language with other couponers.

    MQ = manufacturer's coupon

Here is the link to the abbreviations:

I'm with mbertoncino2; I'm new and can figure out some of the acroynms, but I'm especially puzzled by MQ; is that a coupon?

  • mbertoncino2 Mar 1, 2010

I am a newbie to this blog and the whole coupon cutting thing! Where do I find the "secret decoder ring" for all those fun abbreviations? Thanks!
