Hi Coffee - I am sure they won't continue super doubles into the sale starting Wednesday. When they run the promo it is always for 1 week only. If they follow their trend, they will run another promo (either super doubles or triples) next month. Sorry. :-(

  • coffeecrazy Feb 23, 2010

Hi Faye, I know tomorrow will tell, but do you think HT will continue the super doubles? I'm a teacher and get paid on Friday - I would love to be able to buy more super doubles! I saved over 60%, but couldn't spend a dime more until payday. (I had to buy fruit and meat, or my bill would have been much less). :)
I love my 3 ring binder! You're inspiring Faye!

  • amcvey Feb 19, 2010

I also got free Kotex panty liners from HT! (2 boxes at 1.50- doubled MQ of $1.50/2=FREE)

  • amcvey Feb 19, 2010

    The Land O Lakes has .55/1 on for Buttery Spread(you can print 2) and also .50 off the butter w/ olive oil. It's 2.35, then 1/2 off= 1.19- 1.10 MQ= .09!!!

    Foodlion add:
Food Lion Frozen Chicken Breasts, 2.5 lb bag BOGO for $6.49 ($2.59/lb – not the best deal but ok if you are out and didn’t get it at Lowe’s Foods for $1.99/lb last week)
This is not such a good deal. (better than $5/lb) but the Foodlion Breast include 15% water in the weight. Lowes foods is Sanderson Farms, and they have max 2% water.
So the $2.59/lb is really $3.05/lb if you take out the brine/broth they inject to increase weight. (check the packages before you buy) Also, that "brine/broth" could include extra salt, so be careful if you are on a salt controlled diet.

About the Kroger promo... I think the 32 oz. Gatorade for .58 is a pretty good deal, not as good as the .50 when it is $10/10 but with baseball season coming up, .58 is way better than $1 or more each!

  • HappyGirl08 Feb 18, 2010

Well, to be honest I've never had any issues really until this one. Usually if the coupons are valid they go on through. Once I had 4 or 5 for the same thing and after the 4th one I think it wouldn't take it. I was told you can only have a certain amt of coupons for each item or some such. At any rate, I just asked that they ring the last one separately and use the coupon and they did. I guess I could have tried that w/the free one they wouldn't take but it was late and I was tired so I just let it go.

  • afteradeal Feb 18, 2010

FYI, The HT in Wilson will not let you use a coupon for $ off two items if they are BOGO. I didn't try to rationalize that you are paying half price for each item intead of full price for one and zero for the other.

  • HappyGirl08 Feb 18, 2010

Well you know, I had a few "free" coupons for yogurt. I went to HT at meadowmont last night and they would only let me use 3 of the 4 I had. That was the first time I have ever had a problem like that. Not really sure why it matters. It isn't as though that was the only thing I was buying but oh well. Thankfully the couple I have left do not expire until December so by then I will have gotten all the free yogurt I can eat. ha!
