Weekly Grocery Deals
January 27 – February 2

After a few weeks of fabulous sales, this is a pretty slow week. The Kroger Big Game promotion has some very good deals. I like the BOGO Cantaloupe and BOGO Breakstone’s sour cream at Harris Teeter. I will also be buying the $1.29/lb tomatoes at Lowe’s Foods. There are also lots of good buys on apples and pears this week. Milk is $2.50/gallon at Kroger, as well – a good price. Happy Shopping!

Thanks for your comments and the Hot Topic vote everyone!

We will definitely try the Almond Milk this week, thanks to your comment, hrpixie.

coupons - on teheKroger Deal, you can do more than one set of the deal. You just have to make sure you buy in multiples of 10. If you only buy 19 items, you only get $5 off. If you buy 20 qualifying items, you get $10. I have not seen anywhere that there is a limit to the number of times you can do this deal. I only did it once so not much help there!

unc85 - cantaloupes are hit and miss this time of year. We had a really good one from HT about a month ago - I was thrilled. We definitely eat alot more citrus, apples and pears this time of year.

I really like the Almond Breeze Milk, even more than soy milk. Thank you for putting this together each week it has been a tremendous help. I also ordered your DVD and it was great and very informative, I love the print out I refer to it all the time still, while I am learning.

    Faye,
On the Kroger Big Game Deals, can you buy 20 items and get $10 off or is there a limit to only doing it once?

  • unc85vw Jan 27, 2010

Do you all really find cantaloupes to be good this time of year? They're on sale alot, but I don't take advantage because I can't remember having a tasty melon in mid-winter!

ditto...Thank you for all the time and effort you put into this. I try to go thru and find the good deals before I look at the deals that you post, and I always miss the GOOD ones. Thank you so much!!

Thanks for this easy-to-use compilation. Sometimes I get in overload looking at all the sales. It is nice to see them simplified and lined up right next to each other. Thank you!
