Faye~i do the same thing :) i usually use coupon sherpa and ive used it mostly at the craft stores and restaurants with no issues as well. The golden corral coupon i found did not come from their website i just did a google search for golden corral coupons and a b1g1 came up but like smoon it asked for an email address and so me not knowing what i know now i gave it to them. Needless to say, i didn't get my coupon but i got an inbox full of junk :(

juanita - I have used so many show and save coupons from my phone it's unreal. I save using mobile coupons on everything from restaurant coupons to clothing coupons to free movie rentals. Today I used a free coupon code that Redbox sent me via text message for a free game rental. Earlier in the week, I showed my local McDonald's a Tweet for a free medium fries from the McDonalds Twitter account making the fries free. I use mobile coupons every week successfully.

I am not sure what Golden Corral coupon you found, but the mobile coupons I use come directly from the companies (via text messages, e-mails, facebook coupons, etc).

The coupons you get from signing up with the company websites directly are valid and I have not had issues using them.

Did the Golden Corral coupon you found come from the Golden Corral website?

lindalarry40-there is nothing on your receipt from the store that indicates that the savingstar credit is applied. You will receive an email when the credit is applied to your account on savingstar. I can take up to 30 days. Just keep the receipt handy in case it doesn't show up and you need to contact them for credit. Also, I buy dented cans and have never had a problem. I always just inspect the can to make sure it isn't so dented that it looks like the seams are splitting. I don't have anything official to back that up though.

Savingstar question: How are these coupons recorded on your receipt from Lowe's & HT? I thought it would say Savingstar or something. I can't tell if they worked for me today on my trip to Lowe's.

Also, question regarding bent cans of food. Are they safe and does anyone have anything in writing that they are safe to eat? I have seen some good deals lately but not sure they are safe. My husband is just getting well from his hospital stay from something he got from food when we ate out, so just want to be sure it is ok. Thanks.

Smoon629~fyi I called golden corral and asked them if I'd be able to use a coupon that i found online via showing them my fone once i got there and they told me that they dont accept ANY coupons found online or via a cell phone. The only ones they take are the ones that come out in the paper that they send to the house. Sorry....all that stuff online is a scam just to get ur email and send spam.....u learn from ur mistakes

edblanchards-Yes, you can refreeze the meat because it was cooked after it was taken out of the freezer the first time.

My husband starting cooking his bbq in the crockpot about 2 years ago and we don't eat it any other way now. Hardly any work to it and its always tender and juicy!

edblanchards - I have cooked a pork roast in the crock pot numerous times. The roast always ends up fork tender and very tasty. I season mine, put it in the crock pot - fat side up and 8 hours later...BBQ. More than likely half way thru the cooking process you will have to drain some fat from the crock pot. Hope this helps!
