At Rite Aid today in Clinton, they had some plastic organization stuff from their back to school sales for 75% off. Stuff like plastic shoe boxes, plastic desk drawers/organizers, file totes, etc. I got a couple things, because those were pretty good prices at 75% off. But then I saw the Single Check Rebate book at the front of the store...buy 2 of these items, get $5 rebate, max 3 rebates/house. It says nothing about the original purchase price (some of the rebates do, but this one doesn't). So I'm thinking that I should get $10 in rebates for the $5.50 I spent on 4 items. (OR at least, I should get the purchase price back, right?)

To make it better, I paid for these items using +UP rewards from the "Free after +UP" toothpaste/toothbrush deals, and I had coupons for each of those. So I guess that means for $5, I got: toothpaste, a toothbrush, 2 desk organizers, 2 plastic shoe boxes, and a $10 rebate.

Firestone sent us a $15.00 off of our oil change..lots ofther coupons for other things too!

I found cans (14 oz I think) of Muir Glen Organic diced tomatoes at Ollie's in Cary today for 59 cents each. Thy had quite a bit of them. That's a pretty decent price for organic. They also had the big (28 oz?) of organic crushed tomatoes for 99 cents.

*there* not their. Sorry, drives me nuts when people do that. that's what I get for trying to multi-task. :)

Are their any good deals this week on Benadryl (either name brand or store brand)? My dog is having a continuous allergic reaction to something and I need some right now.

Anybody have any Kohl's cash that they won't be using before it expires? I'd love to take it off your hands....

Yesterday, at Target's pharmacy counter, they were giving out a booklet of Target coupons for mostly HBA products worth over $30. This was at White Oak in Garner.

Re: Savingstar -- I recently had a problem with the Kraft Mac N Cheese thing. I had purchased 15 boxes in a single transaction at Kroger during their mega sale a few weeks ago. I got credit for only 7 of them. I used the "contact us" link on their website, and had a very nice email from Amy, who immediately credited me for the missing boxes once I emailed her a scan of my receipt.

Other things are VERY slow to show up, except for the ones that appear almost instantly! :-)

Stephanie

Does anyone know of any deals on oil change packages? I know that Groupon had a couple before, but there aren't any posted right now.

I remember seeing that too...do I need to bring anything with me or will it be free with my vic card?
