Food Lion is continuing the Store Brand Super Sale this week. Save up to $10 when you buy store brand items. There are also good deals on green peppers, carrots, chicken leg quarters, apples, tomatoes and more!

These deals are valid 9/26 – 10/2.

Food Lion Coupon Basics

Food Lion does not double coupons

They have no limits on number of coupons they will take, unless specified in the ad

BOGO items ring up at half price so if you only buy 1, it rings at half price. You can use a coupon on each BOGO sale item.

E-Coupons: You can now load RedPlum.com manufacturer’s coupons to your Food Lion MVP card and when they scan your card at the register and you buy the qualifying items, the discount will come off automatically. I spoke with corporate and they confirmed that these are manufacturer’s coupons and not to be combined with hard copy manufacturer’s from the newspaper and other sources. She said their policy is only 1 coupon per product. No e-coupons will double. Click HERE for more information.

At the Food Lion at Hwy 210, they had a sign up that there was a mistake in the ad. The $.77 carrots are actually a bag of whole carrots, not baby carrots. Which is still a good deal, but just an FYI!

Most Food Lions still need to work on their customer service. I must say that I have seen some improvement at the one near my house.

The food lion on Lake Wheeler and Tryon Rd in Raleigh will not take their own internet coupons. Infact, the manager told me they were fraudulent and took them from me! I got to my car and called the main number and they sent me a $5 Gift Card to cover what I had lost by not using the coupons. I will never shop there again. I told the manager they were real and that I could show her online where I got them. All I got from her was an eye roll... ughhhh i'm fuming just thinking about it.

Here's the link to my weekly coupons this week:
