Posted September 18, 2012

Food Lion Coupon Basics

Food Lion does not double coupons

They have no limits on number of coupons they will take, unless specified in the ad

BOGO items ring up at half price so if you only buy 1, it rings at half price. You can use a coupon on each BOGO sale item.

E-Coupons: You can now load manufacturer’s coupons to your Food Lion MVP card and when they scan your card at the register and you buy the qualifying items, the discount will come off automatically. I spoke with corporate and they confirmed that these are manufacturer’s coupons and not to be combined with hard copy manufacturer’s from the newspaper and other sources. She said their policy is only 1 coupon per product. No e-coupons will double. Click HERE for more information.

Food Lion Store Brand Super Sale: September 5th – October 2nd, buy Food Lion store brand items and receive a coupon to use on your next transaction. It’s basically like getting back .25 per item after the coupon prints out.

jzka - my link never includes meat and produce either. Every time I print my list, that area is a shopping list and when I use Faye's link, I get the meat and produce in that area. Thanks Faye!

The My Essentials Pasta Sauce is actually quite good. It's $0.99 all the time, not just this week, but $0.74 right now with the $1 OYNO if you buy any combo of 4 My Essentials.
I get the 'garlic and herb' variety as a starter for my sauce.
There's also a free State Fair admission for a donation of 4 cans of FL store brand products and a catalina for the $1 OYNO.
If you like Snapple tea, six packs are $2.89 ($3.10 0ff regular price).
    Oikos were $1 ea with a $.75 0ff 3 blinkie
FL is not my favorite store but they are almost ringing my bell this week.

You are welcome, smolder and jzka. As always, if I forget to post it - just remind me. :-)

Kathy - that really is a good price on the pasta sauce after the Super Sale catalina coupon savings.

Thanks rmconner1. I think I will try them since we go thru tons of pasta sauce. It is our goto meal (pasta, beefaroni, baked ziti, etc). I try to keep lots on hand for when I need a quick, easy meal.

smolder13- I am not sure their reg. price, but I am going shortly & will come back to comment - I would image it is something like 1.49? maybe

Also -Scott Bath Tissue Extra Soft Mega or 1000 Count 12 Roll, Scott Bath Tissue $5.49 With $1.00 Off 1 Kiosk Coupon. There also was a 1.00(extra soft mega 12ct+) coupon in the paper within the past 2 weeks - making it 3.49 (IF the paper coupon is for what's on sale!) :)

  • smolder13 Sep 19, 2012

Does anyone know the regular price for the 2L coke products? Is the BOGO a good deal?

And I would also like to thank you, Faye, for posting the coupon link. Even though I signed up to get the emails, they never come.

I almost went into Aldi the other day, but I wasn't prepared. I didn't have any bags with me. I'd just left HT and was going to run in with a couple of those bags. I checked this website for their deals and didn't really see anything while I was sitting in the parking lot so I just left. We don't buy a whole lot of fresh produce for some reason and that was about all I saw deals on.

Faye - Thank you for posting the FL coupon link every week! My e-mail link never includes the meat, produce or My Essentials coupons :(
