New Prescription transfer coupons and pharmacy promotions this week!

There are some new prescription transfer coupons and pharmacy promotions available this week. Please post any other prescription promotions you have found.

Walgreens Prescription Transfer Coupon: There is a $25 prescription transfer coupon in the ad this week. Transfer a prescription to Walgreens and receive a free $25 Walgreens card. Valid through 12/31/12. There are exclusions so read the fine print on the coupon.

Kmart coupon in the ad on page10: Reward members get a $25 Kmart gift card with the purchase of a transferred prescription. Offer valid through 9/12. There are exclusions so read the fine print on the coupon.

Harris Teeter: For NEW Harris Teeter pharmacy customers ONLY. If you have had a prescription filled at a Harris Teeter before, you do not qualify for this promotion. If you are a NEW pharmacy customer, you can have a new or transferred prescription filled through a Harris Teeter pharmacy and receive a $20 credit to your VIC rewards card. They give you a punch care with 10 punches available and through October 2, you will get $20 added to your VIC card for every prescription filled. You can also use the punch card for any immediate family member in the same household as long as they are also a new pharmacy customer, according to the HT pharmacy employee with whom I spoke. This promotion has been going on for a number of weeks now and many of you have already posted comments about it, but since there are a couple more weeks left, I thought I'd include it in this list. It's also rare that you can get a gift card for new prescriptions.

Rite Aid: When you get a flu shot at Rite Aid, you will receive a coupon book with $100 worth of coupon savings in it.

At HT, you can do separate orders and use multiple $20 credits in one shopping trip. When you check out, as long as your total is over $20, it will deduct one $20 credit before q's. On my 1st order, I bought produce/seafood/deli totaling $22 and paid $2! On my 2nd, once I scanned everything, the $20 came off and I still had $16 SD q's that needed to come off...Grabbed some fresh cheeses and fruits I wanted anyway. $113 shopping trip for $5.03 OOP! I

HT will accept the Walgreens transfer coupon as a competitor coupon if you want to transfer a RX there and are not eligible for HT's $20 new customer deal. Does Kroger also have the $25 transfer deal this week? Nothing says you can't transfer a RX more than once if you have the refills available. This works well with low cost generics that you pay for yourself (vs insurance).

I want to transfer both mine and my sons allergy prescriptions from Wal-Greens to KMart....are we both eligible for the $25 giftcard?

I agree, I spoke with the pharmacist at HT and they also said the same thing. The $20 credit is for new rx customers only. Existing customers are not eligible.

So excited! I had a new prescription to fill and I usually go to Walmart but took it to HT this time and got my $20 credit. Way faster, too! Walmart is always so busy!

msgooch - the pharmacist was very clear that the promotion is for new HT pharmacy customers only. She said that if you had filled a script there before, you were not eligible. Sounds like the pharmacy you went to was being generous in allowing you to do this promotion again.

Re: the HT promotion - in reading the promo card, it doesn't refer to NEW customers. It's new or transferred prescriptions (and their refills). What it can't be a transferred prescription from another HT pharmacy:

"If you have not previously used a Harris Teeter Pharmacy, for each NEW or TRANSFERRED prescription (and their subsequent refills) filled at your Harris Teeter through October 2, 2012...."

"Offer not eligible for RXs transferred from or previously filled at another Harris Teeter Pharmacy."

With the Harris Teeter promotion, you need to use the $20 gift card by October 9th.

yes thanks to the harris teeter promotion for new pharmacy customers.. i was able to spend only 21.14 on friday nite and saved 99.21 including my 20.00 credit for new presciption.. thanks harris teeter and all that told me about this when i asked on friday on this website who had a new presciption deal going on.. thanks to faye and all of you who post comments to help us save money..
