bloomhappy - I bet it was those loud storms we had rolling through in the afternoons. As you say, it can be replaced, but it sure does hurt when you work so hard to build it. I hope the sales are plentiful to let you do that quickly.

Oh no, bloomhappy!! I have taken a moment to pay my respects to the chicken, the lunchmeat, the veggies and cheese and especially the fruit and fruit jam. My deepest condolences. Can I send you any particular coupons from the last few weeks to help get the stockpile going again? We don't use baby stuff, cat food and more. Just let me know.

Please share in a moment of silence to mourn the the passing of my stockpile. My garage freezer lost power while I was on vacation last week, and it was plugged into a GFCI outlet (which my husband says he will replace to a regular one in the next few days). Since no one was here to notice, the outlet stayed off, and I lost 10 lbs of chicken breast, 5 packs of lunchmeat, lasagna, hot dogs, plus tons of frozen vegetables, and cheese. I cry the most for the 5 boxes of homemade strawberry jam my mother and I made this summer from berries we picked, and the 7 bags of fresh blueberries. I am so thankful that nothing is broken, and no one is hurt. As we say in our family, "It's only money, not anything important, like people!" I am hard at work sorting my coupons now getting ready for superdoubles at HT --- thank you, Faye, for all your hard work - I know I will be in better shape soon because of you !
