Published: 2012-09-07 06:30:00
Updated: 2012-09-07 06:30:00

Both Harris Teeter and Lowes Foods usually have some weekend specials for their e-Vic and Fresh Rewards members. Check your Friday e-mails from both stores to see the deals you received and then share them here.

Remember, the deals we receive on Fridays are different for each person and you may have totally different deals than those I receive. Check your Friday e-mail from both grocery stores to see the specific deals that are loaded to your reward cards. If you don't get the e-mails from these stores, you can sign up online at both company websites:

Harris Teeter website

Lowes Foods website

What deals did you get this week?

The Heritage Wake Forest HT was out of the bounty paper towels so I received a rain check. I somehow have a $1 off coupon for bounty (not from the paper, but not sure where i got it-maybe a mailer). I am going to save my rain check and coupon till the next super doubles...hoping to get them for $2.97!

hollyjenkins, thanks for the great tip on the paper towels at Food Lion! That was a great deal...I also used the kiosk My Essentials coupon for .50 cents off a loaf of sandwich bread and paid .37 cents for a loaf of bread!I also scored big at HT on Falls on Neuse using a $1.00 peelie from the Lipton Green Tea (in store)....with today's Saturday only special, I paid $1.97 instead of $5.99 for my daughter's favorite tea...but my favorite deal of the day was a free brow wax at the European Wax Center at Falls of Neuse...since it was my first visit, my eyebrow wax was free....the technician did an awesome job and I will definitely go back.....there are 5 locations in the Triangle and your first wax for brows or bikini line or underarms is free

acrawford-I am seeing many reports of HT super doubles starting 09/12 as well...curious to see what Faye knows.

BeindAmourFan - My Kelloggs's ZVRs are for specific cereals. You had to but 3 applejacks, fruit loops or corn pops for $1 off. The other ones are $1 off two specific cereals that you did not buy.

Seeing postings of potential HT SD's starting 9/12...any confirmation for our area?

BrindAmourFan - There is a limit of 4 on the eVic savings so that might be why you only saw it take off for the FF and the RK and not the Fruit Loops.

I was surprised about the zvr because I did not have one saved that applied to the fruit loops but it was on the receipt but I was unable to use a second $1/2 coupon since it was above the remaining total :(

I bought 2 boxes each of Frosted Flakes, Froot Loops, and Rice Krispies. They were $3.45 each before discounts. I got the BOGO plus eVic $1 off on the FF and RK but NOT on the Froot Loops. I had some manufacturers' coupons to make the deal even better: one for $1 off three boxes and another for $1 off fresh fruit with purchase of two boxes. I had the ZVR saved to my eVic, but it didn't show up on my register tape.

My email from HT is messed up, so I don't get the eVic specials emailed to me. Were the eVic savings applied only to FF and RK? Any thoughts on why the ZVR didn't click in, too? I know I've used manufacturers' coupons along with ZVR coupons in the past, so don't know what might have canceled it out?

Forgot to add $1/2 coupon to my list

4 boxes of Foot Loops which were BOGO free, 4 dollars VIC Savings, and 1 dollar ZVR = .96

momboozer...I didn't notice the size on the coupon. I printed it the other day but I can't remember from where. It was .50q for Frosted Flakes and .50q for Fruit Loops. I also used a $1/2 for the Crunchy Nuts cereal.
