Reminder: CiCi's Pizza Buffet $2.99 today

Posted September 6, 2012

As I posted last week, CiCi's Pizza is hosting National Guest Appreciation Day on September 6 (today) and offering their pizza buffet for $2.99. The regular price of their buffet is around $5 so if you are a CiCi's fan, this is a good savings. Here are the details from the press release:

"To thank its loyal guests during the busy back-to-school season, CiCi’s Pizza will host its first National Guest Appreciation Day on Sept. 6. Participating restaurants will offer CiCi’s Pizza’s endless buffet for just $2.99 all day from 11 a.m. until closing time. (Closing times vary.)

CiCi’s custom pizza buffet is always ready, fresh, hot and full of more than 28 piping hot pizzas on rotation, delicious pasta, hot soup, crisp salad and oven-baked desserts. Their buffet offers a wide variety of classic and specialty pizzas to fit every taste bud in the family, including the new Italiano Garlic and longtime fan favorite, the Mac & Cheese pizza. New to the buffet line-up are Garlic Parmesan Knots, CiCi’s house-made dough, rolled in garlic butter and parmesan cheese and baked to perfection.

I'm guessing "to go" is not on option for this offer?

I'm with you on not waiting in line behind 75 other people with no seating, solly! Hopefully folks won't have that experience this year.

Did anyone go to CiCi's yet today? Any word on lines, seating, amount of pizza available, etc?

I am sure timing and location makes a difference. When I was there last year, there was a line of probably 50-75 people outside and no available seating inside. This was at dinnertime though. We do go to Cici's fairly regularly (my 7 year old loves the mac and cheese pizza) and enjoy it. Even at full price it is a pretty good deal.

Thanks for the feedback quemaster and solly. I am sure it depends on what time of day you go and how well the restaurant is staffed. For those going today, it's probably a good idea avoid high traffic times if you want to avoid the crowds. Enjoy your pizza!

We tried this last time and while it was crowded, the service was great, lines moved really well and it was OK. My BIL loves pizza so we went because of him. Not a bad time at all.

I happened to go to this when it was offered last year - there were many, many people taking advantage of the offer. It was too crowded and not enjoyable. I'll wait and pay full price another day.
