Just got my first issue of Every Day with Rachel Ray (free 1 yr subscription-thanks to Faye) and there is a $1 coupon on Johnsonville Chicken Sausage in it! If you don't have the 7/22 coupon but got/get the magazine the coupon is in there, too!

I love making the potatoes that way (quemaster). I got the recipe from Pioneer Woman. "Crash hot potatoes"

  • Faye Prosser - Smart Shopper Sep 5, 2012

That sounds really tasty, quemaster. I have a whole bag of red potatoes from the Lowes Foods sale last week I need to start using. There may be some smashed taters in our future. Thanks!

I saw that HT has red potatoes on sale. Boil these whole (peel on) and when just done remove and smash flat with had. Placed on greased backing sheet, spice them to taste (salt, pepper, parmesan, bacon bits, etc.) and bake till brown/crunchy on bottom. Great twist on potatoes!
