Special Request

I have an important special request regarding one of our fellow couponers. Nancy, who has been an awesome resource to so many of us here on the blog, needs some extra prayers for her family right now. Her husband had a heart attack on Sunday. He had surgery and is doing much better as of Sunday evening, but he can use all the prayers and healing thoughts you can offer. I asked her if I could post this prayer request and she said yes, so I know she'll see any comments you care to share.

Nancy, the Prosser family is sending lots of prayers and hugs to all of you!

jdouglas, thanks for the book recommendations! Those of you that know me, know that when I want to do something, I do the full immersion routine and this will be one of those times, learning and collecting heart smart recipes :)

Good news is that he is expected to be released on Wednesday, and the recovery at home will be gradual rebuild to his normal routine in about 6 weeks! I'm still in awe of the phenomenal job Wake Med Cardiology wing does!! On the elevator up this morning, it was filled with several nurses and a couple Dr's, and I thanked every one of them for the work they do, they are really Angels of Mercy all. I'm just surprised I didn't cry when I thanked these strangers. So blessed we are, so very blessed!

Hugs to all, you can't possibly know how much those prayers mean to us, you just can't.

Thanks Katie - I may have to do that one again at Lowes tomorrow with the McCain coupon and the Tyson coupon!

brings - Yes, HT will give you a raincheck for a produce item on sale. Just ask for the raincheck at customer service.

If you haven't gotten the Lowes Foods meal deal yet this week (or want to get it again!) there's now a McCain's potatoes coupon on coupons.com for $1/1.
