qponclipper, if they have a problem with customers using expired 3-week coupons, why don't they just look at the date before they accept them?
I haven't had any problem. I'd be ticked if they tried to take the coupon. I hold on to them, because you can't easily find them after the first week.

Is anyone else's Lowes Foods taking their 3 week coupons? I shopped at the Sanford store Monday and, when I tried to get the cashier to scan the ones that I purchase products for, the cashier told me that I had to cut (or tear) the coupons out and turn them in to her with my other coupons. I tried to explain to her that intended to use them again by the 28th, she told me that they no longer allowed that as they have had problem with customers using old 3 week coupons that were expired. Has anyone else had this issue? I was going to stop by the customer service desk to ask about this but my 2 year old was over due for a nap so I was running on borrowed time!

Does anyone know if Kellogg's raisin bran is included in the $3 off deal?

  • jdouglas13 Aug 23, 2012

Considering it is an angus chuck roast, $2.97 is pretty good. I don't think you'll find cheaper. I'm going to buy a few to turn into ground chuck. Very glad that Lowes is trying to improve the quality of their meat, because for a long time it wasn't even worth looking at with the exception of the boneless chicken breasts. We had some of the sirloin on sale last week for beef kabobs and were pleasantly surprised how good it was.

Nakabi, I sure hope there isn't a tally of Faye mistakes. It wouldn't be pretty. :-)

  • nakabi Aug 22, 2012

no problem Faye-You are allowed one mistake a month..good thing we are coming to the end of the month soon since you've used up your one mistake allowed :)

TYPO ALERT! - The boneless chuck is $2.97/lb, not $1.97/lb. as I indicated on the original deals list. Sorry about that! Note to self - doing the list at 2 am may result in errors. So sorry about that! The $2.97/lb price is a decent deal, but not amazing. Thanks for double checking jma!

  • luvstoQ Aug 22, 2012

My online add says chuck roast/steak $2.97lb. Is it really $1.97?? I really enjoy a good chuck roast and veggies in the crock-pot, especially @ $1.97! Haven't been to the store to check the price yet, so just wondering at the discrepancy. Thanks!
