shellycole - the Amazon card is not an actual card, it's a code that is applied to your amazon account :( You can provide them with the code number to insert into their own Amazon account though - perhaps write it into a greeting card?

    couponlover RE:brakes

I'll be honest, I do them myself, but when I do take my vehicle into a shop, I always, always, ALWAYS price my own parts. They'll give you a write-up on what they intend to charge you. Go online and see what people are charging for those parts. Frequently I can get the same parts for less, frequently much nicer parts for about the same or less, than what they quoted me. I've even had to special order parts, and I've had them shipped directly to the shop and installed. Only thing to watch out for when supplying your own parts is the core charge (it's a deposit, kind of, you get it back when you return the busted part you just replaced).

Nancy-I tried to use the code but it said that the code was already used. I wonder if it is a one time use code?

Gigi's Cupcakes of Raleigh has a place on their Facebook page to join their email list, and for doing so they'll email you a free cupcake coupon on your birthday. We grabbed some Gigi's for the first time recently for my FIL's 60th birthday. I can't vouch for every flavor (I only had one), but the absolute magic that is *just the frosting* on the chocolate chip cookie dough cupcake was worth the money. It was thick, and had that eggy-raw vanilla taste that cookie dough should have, spectacular!

Saw this in another site:Hershey's Simple Pleasures @ Target are $2.99
Print a Target store coupon from their site for $1 off the Hershey's simple pleasure and use the manufacture coupon from 8/19 SS for $2 off and get it for free!!! I went and got 2 today and only had to pay the tax. Look for them in the bagged candy aisle. They're yummy!!

I've had problems with my saving star. I had items I bought from 2 diff stores not show up and had to email b/c I never got the credit after a month. They looked up my store cards and didn't even see any activity. So they let me email a pic of the receipt from the things that qualified and after they saw it they applied my credit and fixed the problem with my cards. I've had to do this twice. So from now on I'm keeping receipt when I buy items that qualify for saving star

astamper-saving star coupons don't show up on your receipt. you will get an email at whatever address you signed up with when the coupon savings post to your account. It can take anywhere from a few days to up to a month to post.
