Here is your weekly list of good sale prices for the basics at our various grocery & drug stores including milk, meat, produce, eggs, bread, coupon items & more. This list includes deals from the sales ads, with a few regular priced items included. Please add any other great deals on basics that you find!

 

Kroger, CVS, Rite Aid, Walgreens deals are valid through 8/18.

Kroger is having the What A Deal Promotion: Buy 10 participating items and save $5 instantly at the register. There are many items included in this promotion. Look for the yellow and blue tags throughout the store. You have to buy 10 items to get the discount. It’s basically like getting .50 off each item. Here are some of the better participating deals from the ad.

Harris Teeter, Lowes Foods, Food Lion and Aldi deals are valid through 8/21.

Abbreviations used below include:

    Looking for the best deal on Orange Juice - can be store brand... any ideas? I can't see paying 4.39 for a gallon of store brand orange juice!!

    Jessilrogers - for that price, it's worth it to make room in the freezer! Maybe you could take some things out of their cardboard containers (and leave them in the sealed plastic) to make more room. We don't often see boneless chicken breast for less than $1.70/lb.
