ziggychick, you're right about their bananas. I don't buy them either because they go bad fast - maybe because they're all wrapped up in plastic?? Just don't know--- but actually they aren't THAT much cheaper because you have to take whatever is wrapped together.

Only thing I don't like about their bananas is they turn bad REAL quick! I know others who have had this experience as well.

add cumin and tomato paste and stir together. turn heat down and add 1.5 cup very hot water and stir. cook on low heat, covered, for simmer for 5-10 minutes. Look for the ghee to rise to the top. when this is done, add prawns, salt, pepper, more very hot water and turn heat back up. Cover and simmer for 10 more minutes until prawns are pink. Enjoy

prepare prawns by removing shells & cleaning/gutting them. rinse in cold water and clean. set aside. peel and chop onions/peppers/tomatoes finely. heat ghee (oil)(perhaps 3-4 tablespoon) and fry the cinnamon sticks, cardamon, cloves for 30 seconds or so. add onion/tomato/peppers and fry until golden brown. make sure to stir frequently otherwise you will burn onions. add ginger & garlic paste and stir. next add tumeric, coriander powder, garam masala, red chili powder and keep frying for 2 minutes or so. ...to be continued

watchhillgirl- you will need about 1.5 kg shelled prawns, 2 onions, 1-3 green chillis, (depends how spicy you like it), 4 cloves, 2 cinnamon sticks, 3/4 teaspoon garam masala, 2 coriander leaves, 1 teaspoon coriander powder, 1.5 tablepsppon cumin, 3-4 cardamon, 3-4 tomatoes, oil, 3 tablespoon ginger, 1/2 teaspoon garlic paste, salt/pepper, 1.5 tablespoon tamato paste, about 2-2.5 cups very hot water...to be continued

watchhillgirl-the list of ingredients is long and so is the listing of how I make it. I don't have an exact recipe, but I'd be happy to email you how I make it if you care for me to. let me know your email address

nakabi...that sounds amazing! Share your recipe? For both?
