Harris Teeter Super Doubles 8/8 - up to $2.00 coupons!!

Harris Teeter has confirmed that they will be offering the Super Doubles promotion starting Wednesday August 8th! As they did last time, they will be doubling coupons that are $2 or less so a $2 coupon doubles to $4.00! Read on for all the details. Click HERE for the information on their Facebook page.

Coupon policy during Super Doubles:

* HT will be Super Doubling coupons worth up to $2 face value. This means that a $1.50 coupon will double to $3.00, $1.00 coupon will double to $2.00 and a $2.00 coupon will double to $4.00!

* HT begins super doubling coupons at 7:00 AM on the first day of the sale. 24 hour stores do not super double coupons before 7:00 AM on the first day (at least that is how it has always worked in the past).

* HT will super double/double up to 20 coupons per household per day. Spouse's cards registered with the same address are linked because the policy is 20 per household, per day. If you have twenty $1 coupons and twenty .75 coupons, only 20 total will double. They will not double 20 coupons that are under $1 and also super double another 20 coupons that are over $1. It's 20 total coupons doubled per day.

* HT policy is to double up to 3 identical coupons (as long as you buy the product required for each coupon, of course). So, if you have five $1.00 coupons for a product, the policy is to only super double the first three.

Unfortunatly, I find it pointless to go to Harris Teeter anytime during a super doubles week. By the time I get out of work, there is nothing left worth getting. I'm sure if I worked at home I would be right there first thing in the a.m.

And I, too, would like to thank Faye for all of her hard work. When I leave the grocery store having saved an average of 60-70% (or sometimes more!) off of my grocery bill, it is because of what Faye has taught and what she does on this blog every day! I swear she never seems to rest!! Thank you, Faye!

I heard from a cashier at Harris Teeter during their last Super Doubles event that doubling the $2 coupons is going to be a regular part of the promotion going forward. Let's hope he was right...so far, he is!

Small update from my RP 8/12 list: there is a $1 ZVR for the Swiffer Starter Kits, which would make the final price after SD and ZVR $5.99 from $9.99. :)

Faye you provide a great service. If I had to search and figure out every deal on my own, I would never get it done with my schedule. Continue to do what you do. We appreciate you and others who help us. If anyone doesn't like this blog, follow another one or start your own if you think you can do it better.

Hi Diane - no need to apologize - we were all newbies at one time. :-)

From your HT e-mail did you click the link for the e-coupons? It should bring you to the HT website with a bunch of ZVR digital coupons to pick from. If you have done that and you still don't see the Tampax e coupon, that means you didn't get it. Not everyone gets all the ZVR coupons, which can make things confusing sometimes. There have been many times when I go to adda ZVR that someone has posted about , and it's not available for me to add.

You can also access your digital ZVR coupons through HarrisTeeter.com and click on My Account and then log in to see your coupons. If you have not set up an account, you'll need to do that first and then you can see your available ZVR coupons.

The $2 MQ (manufacturer's coupon) that Nancy posted about it from the 7/29 PG insert.

Sorry for another "newbie" question on my part, but here goes:

One of the items that Nancy posted was:

Tampax Pearl 18-20 count $4.49 ($2 ZVR and $2MQ doubled makes it a money maker)

I'm confused, because in my latest e-mail from HT, it only has 12 e-vic ("ZVR") coupons, and none of them are for this item or the other items posted. :(

I'm guessing the $2MQ is a $2.00 manufacturer coupon that one would have to already have?
