I ran into Aldi's today, and the peppers that are on sale are very big and fresh!! Super happy with all the veggies that I got! Very worth the trip!

Harris Teeter in Fuquay-Varina has 1 gal of milk on sale for $.97 it is on sale because it expires July 31. Still a good deal.

sarahcarucci: Thanks for the N&O reminder to me! I've been looking at my Sunday Only N&O subscription renewal @1.85 per paper and thinking I should call them to ask about a better renewal rate. After seeing your note, I called, I asked, they offered, and I cheerfully accepted at the $55.96/52 weeks rate. I call every year and this is the best N&O renewal discount I've ever been offered. :-)

I was able to get a new Sunday only subscription to the N&O for just under $56 using the promo code SC13.99. Doesn't work if you're renewing but we were able to cancel my subscription and start a new one in my boyfriend's name to the same addess without missing any Sundays. Much better than they $84 price we got last year! :)

Thanks for the Aisle50 info. I had been wondering what everyone was talking about. Unfortunately I don't have a Lowe's super close here in FV. Do you think that they might start partnering with any other area stores?

I received a $50.00 American Express Visa from Aisle 50 for getting 20 people to sign up for the free Coca Cola deal as well as free trash bags, biscuits, and $2.00 one of their deals. The free stuff came from people buying items from Aisle 50 after I posted my link on my Facebook. Pretty cool in my case but I think coupons would work better in most instances.

Yes it is, rmconner - I have done it many times. Remember, you cannot use a coupon at the store on the items you have bought through aisle50.com. Here is an atyicle I wrote about it last summer:
