Here is your weekly list of good sale prices for the basics at our various grocery & drug stores including milk, meat, produce, eggs, bread, coupon items & more. This list includes deals from the sales ads, with a few regular priced items included. Please add any other great deals on basics that you find!

 

 

Kroger, CVS, Rite Aid, Walgreens deals are valid through 7/28.

Harris Teeter, Lowes Foods, Food Lion and Aldi deals are valid through 7/31.

Lowes Foods is having a Super Doubles event this week. You can see all the details and a deals list at the link in the box above. I did not include all the deals from super doubles in the list below so you’ll want to take a look at the full list, if you have not done so already.

Abbreviations used below include:

HT = Harris Teeter

(I really like the Sanderson Farms chicken because they don’t inject with extra broth as some chicken producers do)

LF: Breyers ice cream, $3 - $1.50/2 Breyers Blasts ice cream coupon available on Walmart website HERE = $1.50 each after coupon is doubled (a good price for Breyers!)

FL: Saturday Only Sale: 7:00 am to 12 noon - Doritos chips, 2 for $3 - $1/2 coupon from 7/22 Pepsi insert and found on in-store tearpads = $1 each

FL: Planter peanut butter, 16.3 oz., $2.50 - $1 coupon for any Planters product from 6/24 SS = $1.50 – a very good price for peanut butter these days

HT: Barilla pasta, $1.00 - .55/2 coupon for the Barilla blue box varieties from 6/24 SS = .45 each

HT: Post Honey Bunches of Oats, BOGO for $1.77 - $1 coupon from their Facebook page HERE = .77 (better deal at Lowes Foods with coupon)

Kroger: Kroger tortilla chips, 10 oz., $1.00

LF: Post Honey Bunches of Oats, 14.5 – 18 oz., $2 - $1 coupon their Facebook page = FREE!

LF: Snyder’s pretzels, 10 oz., BOGO for $1.50 - $1/2 coupon from 5/20 SS for Pretzel Pieces or Pretzel sandwiches. The picture in the ad looks like the pretzel pieces so I think they are included. Total after coupon doubled = .50 each


Drinks

Kroger: Colgate toothbrush, $1.00 - .40 from 7/8 SS = .20 (as long as there are varieties other than Colgate Plus and Colgate Extra Clean included in this sale – the coupon excludes those)

RA: Stayfree Maxi Pads, 14 – 24 count, $3 - $1 +UP reward and $2 coupon from 7/22 SS = FREE!

WG: Stayfree Ultra Thin overnight maxi pads, 14 count, $1.99 - $2 coupon from 7/22 SS = FREE!

    babyd033... The bagged pizza dough is actually frozen when they put them out. We've gone in several times and found them this way. We usually get the ones that have thawed the least and pop 'em back in the freezer when we get home... unless we're making pizza that night of course.

    CVS also has the pepsi products 12 pk cans on special - 4 for $12 then you get $2 extra care bucks ( same deal as last week).

    delarosaconsulting- Certain speed stick for men and women are on sale for $1.00 otherwise on sale for $2. I bought one stick at Kroger in Garner on Monday night.

    Has anyone got the Kroger free Speed Stick? I can't find the 2.7 oz and the other larger is $2. ( the $1 MQ is not valid on 2oz or smaller.
