Check out this great price on turkey breast at Target this week!

Through Saturday, Market Pantry frozen turkey breast is on sale for .99/lb. That's a great price and one we only see a couple times a year.  You may want to get a couple for the freezer.

You'll also find Market Pantry round top white bread on sale for .99 at Target this week.

What's your favorite way to cook a turkey breast? Crockpot, oven?

What is the percentage of broth solution that is injected into these turkey breast? What is this broth solution anyway????? Gluten allergies beware!!!!

I love to cook my turkey breast in my "Magic Pot" (Pampered Chef's Deep Covered Baker) in the microwave in 40 minutes. Coat with Olive oil and Peppercorn Garlic Run!! Very moist and quick!!

Heritage - the last time I bought them they had bones. The one I bought was actually too tall to fit in my crockpot but tasted mighty good cooked in the oven!

Ceasarsgirl - I seem to recall that the last time I bought a turkey breast from Target it was about 6 lbs. It was not huge, but we did get a number of meals out of it.

I haven't had a chance to get out to Target yet. Are the turkey breast boneless or with bones?

Does anyone know what the smaller size (in lbs)a turkey breast usually comes in? I have bought a full turkey before, but never just a breast. I want to make sure it's not huge. Thanks!!

readingtou - since they are vacuum sealed, they don't get freezer burn so they last a very long time in the freezer :)

If you enjoy cooked onion, when you put your turkey breast in the crockpot, wedge a large onion and put the wedges in the bottom of the crockpot first, wonderful flavor!

readingtou - I have kept a whole turkey in the freezer for up to a year with no difference in taste. Usually, we use them within 6 months.

Nancy - I remember when you stocked up on the Target turkey breasts last time! I still have 1 more from that sale.

Jaredsmom - I agree about the garlic powder. I add lots of it and pepper!

Crockpot turkey is the best! I put a few dabs of butter in the bottom, drizzle some olive oil over the turkey, and then sprinkle with a little salt and pepper. Cook on low for about 8 hours. It always turns out so moist and juicy!

how long do they keep in the freezer?

I love turkey in the crockpot. Garlic powder and a can of chicken broth...YUM!

Thanks for sharing this Faye. I have room for two!
