Does anyone know of any deals in the Raleigh area for having a "new" prescription filled?

Thought you might find this article interesting - these ads have been running for a while now, and Walmart wins in the latest Grocery Cart Tracker, but do you think Walmart or Harris Teeter is the best deal overall?

HT has Davidson's Safest Choice Pasteurized Eggs, 1 dozen large, on sale thru 7/17 for $2.99. If you have the printable .75 coupon you can get them for $1.49, which is not bad for these eggs.

I had a question about the coupons in the Sunday paper. Faye mentioned the Sunkist tuna coupon but when I look on the Sunday coupon preview it is not mentioned there. Is there another site to look for an idea of what coupons there will be? I don't want to miss any good coupons!

Target has the primary journals for those looking for them. They were a little pricy at the Cary location $3.29 -- that is the only place I have seen them lately though.

Target has 70% off summer fun stuff. Not much left, but I got some great deals today!

stephkenner, $50 a week for 3 people is absolutely do-able *IF* you have the time to do the leg work (Faye does most of it, you just need to clip and be organized). My budget is $2 per person per day, or $14 per person per week (the dog isn't a person, his stuff, and the cat's, come out of the general grocery fund). For a family of 3, that's $42 a week.

I've fed my family for less, without coupons, when I've had to. We had a very rough year a few years back, and my budget was 70 cents per person per day, or more precisely I had $1k to feed 4 people for a full year. I have NO desire to ever do that again, there was no margin of error, if I messed up, my kids didn't eat. It's do-able, it's just no fun.
