Reminder: FREE Chick-fil-A meal on Friday!

Posted July 12, 2012

It is time for the annual Chick-fil-A Cow Appreciation Day! You can score a FREE full meal on Fridya, July 13, but there is a little something you have to do to get the freebie.......

On July 13, get a FREE meal at your local Chick-fil-A if you come to the restaurant fully dressed like a cow, from head to toe. Kids who come fully dressed like a cow can request a kids meal. Those dressed partially as cows (not head to toe) get a free entrée.

We did this a few years ago and used white clothes and taped black spots to them and then used rope as the tail and made construction paper ears taped to a headband. Very cute, very funny, very frugal and very yummy FREE meals for me and the kids!

If you have more ideas on frugal cow costumes, please share them here!

Will you be sporting a cow costume tomorrow?

You bet we will be dressed like cows. This will be our third or fourth year doing this and it is good, clean, free fun. Chick Fil A is a very classy organization.

My 10 year old wants to go so I guess we will also be mooing for our lunch! :-)

Totally doing this! My kids are so excited to be cows tomorrow.

It's my husband's birthday, so I think it'd be great to go dressed as cows on his birthday to get free Chik-fil-a (after getting his free sub at lunch at Firehouse Subs, birthdays are a wonderful thing). But he flat out refuses to do it. :(

Love CFA. Some of the moms and kids from my moms group will be there tomorrow all dressed up. Should be a lot of fun! Thanks!

I love CFA and the great customer service they provide! I'll be there with my "cowstume" as fouroakstwin2 put it :)

If you go to Chick-fil-A'a website you can print out most of what you need to make a costume, ears, nose, tail, spots, even the sign to wear. We do this every year. It's a lot of fun!
