This week we'll be enjoying a new addition to the meal plan: Chile Lime Chicken Burgers! We are also having teriyaki tofu, rosemary parmesan baked chicken salmon and more! What's on your menu?
Chile Lime Chicken Burgers from Trader Joe’s (in their freezer section) They were on sale for $3.49 for 4 burgers on Saturday. We were at Trader Joe's to pick up some of their organic tomato soup and tofu and they were sampling the Chili chicken burgers. My 10 year old loved them and they were on sale for a decent price so I picked up a box. They have 150 calories and 6 grams of fat each so much healthier than a regular beef burger. I don't usually like anything ground, but these are very lean and tasted great.
Leftover pasta from last night
Steamed carrots (.99/lb last week)
Teriyaki tofu (bought at Trader Joe’s for $1.69)
Sauteed veggies (green peppers, yellow squash, onions and mushrooms)
Egg rolls
Peach slices (on sale at my local Walmart for .98/lb)
Rosemary Parmesan baked chicken
Au Gratin potatoes
Broccoli
Italian pasta bake
Salad
Homemade veggie pizza
Tomato and cucumber salad
