Looking for stories about how the ecomony has changed your lives

Published: 2012-06-25 08:04:00

I am working on a new series about how the economy has changed the way we shop, eat, play and live. I'd like to interview a few readers and feature you on the blog. Read on if you are interesting in participating.

If you think you might be willing to talk with me about your situation and the changes you have had to make, please send me an e-mail at saving@smartspendingresources.com.  I would love to speak with you!

Thanks again to everyone who e-mailed! I look forward to chatting with all of you.

The economy has made me think more locally. Since I want to maintain "the best for my guests", it is essential to cut costs elsewhere. Therefore, I have learned to shop for food, entertainment and goods within a 10-15 mile radius of my home/business. Not only does this save on gas but I get the added benefit of fresher foods, getting acquainted with my neighbors, enjoying entertainment I might not have sought out previously and supporting the local economy. Local resources are more plentiful than one might think and they are only a click away on the computer. I know the possibilities are almost endless in Chatham County.

My thanks to the folks who have already e-mailed me and offered to share their stories! I am still looking for a couple more people so send me an e-mail!
