Looking for stories about how the ecomony has changed your lives

I am working on a new series about how the economy has changed the way we shop, eat, play and live. I'd like to interview a few readers and feature you on the blog. Read on if you are interesting in participating.

The economy has made me think more locally. Since I want to maintain "the best for my guests", it is essential to cut costs elsewhere. Therefore, I have learned to shop for food, entertainment and goods within a 10-15 mile radius of my home/business. Not only does this save on gas but I get the added benefit of fresher foods, getting acquainted with my neighbors, enjoying entertainment I might not have sought out previously and supporting the local economy. Local resources are more plentiful than one might think and they are only a click away on the computer. I know the possibilities are almost endless in Chatham County.
