Wow, I coupon fairy all the time. I try to see folks as I'm shopping and just hand them coupons but most of the time I end up putting them in between or on top of the items. Hopefully an employee would just leave them there and let someone pick them up and use them. What a nasty attitude that fellow had. I'm ashamed to say he would have gotten back as good as he gave from me however. The older I get, the less carp I take from folks. LOL

To that HT employee...what "junks" up a store is being accosted by poor attitudes and rudeness from employees who's very job is to make one's shopping trip a pleasure and a repeat performance. I would have definitely said something to management and assured them I would take my business elsewhere. There's nothing "junky" about helping others to save money.

I always play coupon fairy. It's just the 2 of us and I have extra coupons. Yesterday I left coupons for Starbucks, Hormel, and Crystal Light. I rather give some a chance to save some money than to just keep them in my binder.

Online sources that are FREE include coupons.com, redplum.com, smartsource.com, couponnetwork.com, Pillsbury.com, BettyCrocker.com.

If you like a particular product (such as Smart Balance, Kikkoman, etc), go to their website for occasional coupons. Kraft 'First Taste' has some FANTASTIC coupons from time to time.

Also, check Faye's lists of upcoming coupon swaps...I know there's one at Moes TTC at 3:00 on Sat 23rd...come by :)

Tuck them between products so it's not obvious to someone walking by quickly, but if somebody picks up the product off the shelves to put it in their cart...SURPRISE :)

I was playing "Coupon Fairy" today at the HT in Wilson when a store employee told me that it was not nice to leave coupons laying around the store as it "junks" up the store. He was very strong in his words to say the least.

I often play "Coupon Fairy" with coupons that are considered "HOT" items if I do not use them, as I know they will get picked up quickly. I like to hopefully bring a little joy to a stranger who could use them and save them some money as well. That particular item was the Smart Balance milk. I had 2 coupons that would make them free. And by the way, a very appreciative woman recieved those coupons along with a few more I had. :)

Has anyone by chance gotten a nasty look or verbal warning for this?

Thanks Savvy -- that's what I thought, but didn't know if you had tried it. I tried one time and had to argue my case twice so I haven't tried it anymore. They want to see the end total above their requirement.

Bklyn I used a BOGO Ocean Spray printable at Kroger and they took it with no problems.
