I forgot to subtract the initial 2.99 you paid up front, so it would only be $10.39.

If you only want to get 2, you should get a 2.99 discount for both. I just read Aisle50's "terms" and they treat their deals as "coupons" loaded to your loyalty card. In their terms it says "The Coupon may not be combined with any other voucher, coupon, or promotion."

But even without actual coupons, you should have $1.98 (.99 x 2) in overage. The cheese *should* ring up after sale discount $2 each and subtract the Aisle50 discount of $2.99 each. You'll need to have at least $1.98 more of items in your transaction. (I don't believe it HAS to be Borden cheese, it can be anything)

Net cost would be 1.01 for the first 2. .20 fuel rewards x 11 gallons = 2.20, so $1.19 MM

Thanks for the calculating! I gather you are telling me I need to buy at least 4 to actually buy 2 (and get 2 free). Not as much a money maker possibility for me because the largest number of gallons we might pump in our household is about 11 gallons, but still a deal.

    Buy 6 packages, $12

    subtract 2.99 x 2, $6.02

    use 4 .55/1 coupons, -4.40, pay $1.62

    receive .60 bonus fuel rewards, .60 x 25 gallons = $15

$13.38 Money maker on 6 packages of cheese.

I believe you would buy the 2 packages at the store for $2 each, and then get the Aisle50 discount of 2.99 for each. You wouldn't be able to use coupons also. You will get the .20 fuel rewards. You would end up spending 2.99 up front, then net 1.98 at the store for a final cost of 1.01 for 2 packages. But considering the .20 in fuel rewards is worth $5 if you max your 25 gallon limit, you're coming out ahead no matter what.

It might be possible if you buy 4 packages of cheese that you could use 4 coupons and receive the aisle50 discount too. It should at least take 2 coupons and if the other 2 don't go through, the cashier might just go ahead and hand key them. You would be better off just doing them separate though since you're technically making money with the fuel rewards.

Aisle 50 has a deal on Borden singles good at LF:
    "Buy One, Get One Free!
12 oz or smaller pack of
    Borden® Cheese
Details: Deal is for any two (12oz or less) packages of Borden® Cheese.
Redeem at store by July 31, 2012"
Any idea how this would work? Would I be getting 2 for 2.99 less coupons and then get .20 fuel rewards? Even with my little car, that would be free cheese! MM if I had a bigger car!

  • knowles7806 Jun 13, 2012

I received my All You magazine yesterday and there was a .75/1 Borden coupon in it. Should go nicely with the sale also!

I'm not sure what you're referring to about the points. The .20 with the Borden cheese deal will show up on your receipt. The regular fuel rewards are .05 for every $100 spent (after coupons). At the bottom of your receipt it should tell you how many fuel rewards you have and when they start to expire (30 days from the day you earned them). The way I understand it is you only lose a .05 every 30 days. So if you earn a bunch of "bonus" fuel rewards and fail to redeem them after 30 days, you will start losing a .05 every 30 days until you balance is gone. But I could be wrong and they just outright expire 30 days from the day you earn them.

To redeem your fuel rewards, you must go to a Lowes Fuel station or a Wilco Hess. Scan or swipe your card and it will ask you if you want to redeem your fuel rewards and tell you how much you have. It will then adjust the price of the fuel and you can fill your tank. (25 gallons max)

how does the fuel bonus reward work? If I buy 2 borden cheese singles, I get .20 fuel rewards on my next fill up even if I do not have 100 fuel points. Or do I have to reach 100 points and then I gt an additional .20. Thanks for the help. I have not redeemed any of the extra rewards yet.

crystal - the rumor is definitely out for June 20 for HT super doubles. Still no word on LF super doubles.

The meal deal is anytime during the week. The details are in the ad online. Basically, you choose 1 of the meats at the deli and then 2 of the qualifying sides that are also at the deli. The participating sizes are in the ad. Then at the register it will all come to $9.99. It's an ok price. I only get the rotisserie chicken when it is $5 or less and these sides often go on sale for $2.50 each so it's not a huge savings and sides are usually cheaper to make at home. Since my goal for meals is $6 or less (for family of 4), $10 is more than I like to spend for meat and 2 sides. Hope that helps Nakabi. :-)

The Oikos Greek yoghurt has me excited!
Faye-to get the meal deal, is that a week long thing or only on Wednesday? How do I get the meal deal?
