Meredith - There are many good deals at the drug stores! Of the 3 main stores, CVS has the easiest and most user friendly drug store rewards. Walgreens often has some good grocery deals. Rite Aid is a little more complicated because of the monthly rebate, the +ups and the Video Values, but they offer good deals as well.

    Have fun!

Thank you for your help lwillis and Faye. I haven't shopped at any drug stores in a long time but there are 3 closer to my house than any grocery store so I'm going to try and start taking advantage of that.

Meredith - you may want to read the Drug Store Rewards article here on this blog. The link can be found on the home page of the Smart Shopper blog on the right side of th epage in the Smart Shopper Resources list. Here is the direct link. It should clear things up for you a little more.

Meredith, the UPs are coupons that print out at the register for use on a future purchase - like the Register Rewards at Walgreens. They are usually good for about two weeks.

$10 +UP when you buy a $50 Home Improvement gift card, good at either Home Depot or Lowe's, limit 2 offers, no activation fee.

I have not shopped at Rite Aid in over 5 years so I am trying to decode how their sales work. What are the UP's?
