I went to HT today and the newmans own salsa was not on sale. It was $2.99. I did not see it in the printed circular either :(

  • mdkranz Jun 11, 2012

I, also, did not see the deal on Newman's Salsa. I saw the Chi-Chi's which was a good deal too. This was at the Fuquay 401 location. I was able to find all other deals, so thank you Faye!

My husband went to HT yesterday and couldn't locate the Newman’s Own salsa, 16 oz. for $1.49. He found the 16 oz. Chi-Chi’s salsa. Is this a misprint?

As a Harris Teeter Home Shop/Cashier, I suggest you wait a few minutes and get the cash for your coupons when you give your coupons to the Home Shop/Bag Person who delivers your groceries. It is a whole lot easier for you as a customer though it does take a few minutes longer...

Harris Teeter online shopping is $1.95 per trip all summer. This is tempting. Instead of running around and trying to find all the best deals, let them do it. They credit this trip's coupons on the next trip's order.

We often freeze chicken and it tastes great when thawed, msgooch.

  • dawnl39 Jun 6, 2012

msgooch- a friend of mine used this frozen chicken breast to make chicken bbq for a neighborhood picnic we had and everyone loved it! After it was thawed she diced it up & put it in a crock pot with a bottle of bbq sauce (& peppers & onions too I believe) on low for 8 hours. Made great bbq sandwiches!

Is the frozen chicken breasts any good? I have always passed them up - never really appealed to me - but I may take advantage of this. I know fresh is always better than frozen, but please let me know what your experience with them has been. Thank you! :-)

Mrs schizzy - my buy price for 8 oz cheese is $1.50 or less. Last week it was $1.34 on sale BOGO and I stocked up.

Thanks for the Suave e-vic info, sandpiper!

I looked at the weekly flyer online and Sargento shredded cheese is BOGO - coming out to about $1.77 per package. This is a good price for Sargento, no?
