Knowles - You can accumulate up to .15, sorry about that

  • kket02 May 30, 2012

Knowles-- you get .05 for each 100 spent, they can accumulate up to .20. I am not sure how long they are good for, but it will print at the bottom of your receipt each time how much you have earned and when they will start to expire. When you swipe your card at the station it will deduct the amount that you have currently earned then it goes back to 0 until you spend another 100$. Hope this helps

Thanks for the help explaining the fuel rewards, but how do the bonus fuel rewards work? Do they stack if you purchase the required products or is it just the largest that you meet? Also, how long do the bonus rewards last on your car? Is there a limit and is that limit per transaction or gallons total. Example, say I have a .20 bonus, .10 bonus, and have met $100 for .05 reward. Do I get .35 off a gallon every time I fuel up or is it only 20 gallons period? I think I'm just confusing everyone!

knowles7806 - Make sure your Fresh Rewards card has the black magnetic stripe on the back. I think they gave us all new cards when Hess stations were added to the fuel rewards program. The very first time I tried to use my fuel rewards at a Hess station it didn't work, but since then it's worked like a charm. I didn't do anything special in order to make it happen (other than having the Lowes card with the stripe). :-)

There is a .55/1 coupon for the resers salads included in the meal deal on Faye's printable coupons link. Making the meal 8.89 if you use 1 Q

  • ncsugirlie May 30, 2012

knowles7806...I'm pretty sure it's after coupons. If you have fuel rewards it will be at the bottom of your receipt and it will show the expiration date for them. You do not have to spend $100 at one time. It total's all purchases and when you reach $100, then you will get 5 cents off of gas. It will keep accumulating until each 5 cents expires. I hope this helps!

Can someone explain the fuel rewards for me? I have just recently started shopping Lowes some and I have my card. I've been to get gas at a Hess station and entered my card, but it says it can't apply rewards. Do I have to sign up to recieve these savings? Also, I know the regular reward is .05 per gallon for every $100 spent, but is that before or after coupons? Also, when do your rewards start over? I'm confused!

In my experience, it should double and you will have overage that can be applied to whatever (you don't have to buy a third candy bar).

I believe the way the system works is it looks at the regular price and will double up to that amount. Although I'm unsure as to how it would respond in a "Price Drop" type sale.

    In my experience:

    Example 1:
Item's reg price is $1 - a .75 coupon will scan then only "double" .25 more. But if you buy 2 items, the coupon will double full amount.

    Example 2:
Item's reg price is $2, on sale for $1 - a .75 coupon will scan and double full amount. (giving .50 overage)

However, (again in my experience) during super doubles the system looks at the actual selling price. So it doesn't matter if the item is on sale or not. In that case you can and would have to buy a third candy bar to get your full coupon value.
