Monday meal plan

This week on the menu, we are firing up the grill multiple times with grilled chicken and grilled hot dogs. We are also having rosemary parmesan chicken, teriyaki tofu and more!

Monday: Memorial Day BBQ

Grilled fat free turkey and light beef hot dogs (Ball Park on sale just about everywhere. I bought them this week BOGO at HT with .75/2 coupon)

Buns (.87 at HT through 5/29)

Pasta salad with red peppers, tomatoes, onions, black olives

Corn (4-pack is .99 at Aldi through 5/29)

Watermelon

Flag cake using strawberries and blueberries from Aldi this week

Tuesday

Rosemary Parmesan chicken baked in oven (using Kraft Fresh Take that were .25 during triples with rain check and coupon and chicken on sale for $1.97 at Lowes Foods through 5/28))

Leftover pasta salad

Leftover watermelon

Wednesday

Sesame teriyaki tofu

Stir fry squash, zucchini, onions, mushrooms

Brown rice

Thursday

I am teaching late so hubby is in charge of sandwiches, Steamfresh broccoli, orange slices (bought 4 lb bag of oranges at Aldi for $2.39, I think)

Friday

Grilled Italian chicken (marinated in Italian dressing for a few hours before grilling)

Grilled vegetable kabobs (marinate veggies in Italian dressing)

Fruit of some kind (depends on what is on sale starting Wednesday)

    I used the Italian Parmesean fresh take on chicken breasts and chicken thighs and my hubby loved them. Thus far ive tried the Chili Lime and Panko on fish, and the Italian Parmesan on chicken and the Savory four cheese on turkey burgers...theyve all been pretty good!

    the sante fe fresh take is awesome on baked chicken, serve it with salad, guac, tomatoes and black beans - yummo

    Monday-Hamburgers, fries, salad
    Tues-Chicken breast w/fresh take, green beans, rolls
    Wednesday-baked ravioli,salad
    Thursday-Hot dogs, fries, some fruit
    Friday- Not sure yet

    I bought some fresh take as well. I forget which flavor I had, but it seems to be the only one they recommend on the package for beef. At any rate, I mixed it in w/hamburger meat and it was good. I'll buy it again.

    foodgirl your ricotta/onions/bacon pizza sounds good!

    M-Lamb pitas, tabbouleh,cucumber/watermelon salad
    T-Grilled lemon/pepper chicken, couscous, grilled vegetables
    W-Periperi chicken, saffron rice, edamame salad
    Th-Grilled angus hotdogs for the kids & husband (left over grilld chicken for me), 3 bean salad, coleslaw, baked beans
    F-chicken taquitos, rice, pinto beans

    I used my Kraft Fresh Take for the first time this week and was pleasantly surprised. I was a little doubtful. I had the cheddar and bacon and it was delicious with chicken.

    Mon: Hot Dogs, homemade potato salad; fresh strawberries; Tues: Quiche with leftover ham, stawberries, fresh veggies; Wed: probably spaghetti (requested), fresh veggies, watermelon or strawberries; Thurs: Kielbasa and corn on the grill, whatever fruit is left; Fri: leftovers - probably ham
