I hope you all have a wonderful day. My day/week just got very interesting.

This morning, the folks who will be installing our new kitchen countertops are tearing out the old countertops and kitchen sink.  When we moved into this house a year ago, we knew there were structural issues with the countertops and sink and we saved up enough over the last year to replace them and tile the backsplash. 

The removal folks are here a week earlier than expected (which is actually very impressive), so obviously my meal plan has changed!  For at least a week we will not have a kitchen sink, use of the dishwasher and most of our countertops.  There will be a lot of sandwiches and easy clean-up meals for the next week. But - at the end of it all, we will have shiny new countertops and we won't have to worry about the sink falling through the old counter!
