uncfsugraduate: You can get some great bargains with sales, single check rebates, store coupons, in-ad coupons, video value coupons, and manufacturer's coupons at Rite Aid, but I have found that I really need to carry my calculator into the store with me, which usually helps to make sure I won't be surprised at the register. In my experience when Rite Aid says you must spend $X to get +UPs, "close" does not count. Sometimes I have forgotten that I get a 10% on non-sale items with my Wellness card, and that 10% discount has disqualified my transaction from earning the anticipated UPs. They will let you return items if you have buyer's remorse after the transaction completes and you realize it fell short of your goal, but they keep any coupons you used for the transaction.

fdn76...Thank You!! I just bought one for my Mom - she's loves Golden Corral :)

Groupon has a good deal going on now if you live in Fuquay and like Golden Corral. Save over 50% for 2 people when you dine in for breakfast or lunch.

There's another Truvia ZVR on the evic coupons today for $1.25 - and I still have the last one for 1.00. AND the paper coupon for $1.00!

Wow, a surprise coupon? Yeah I don't like that kind. haha

I received my May issue of All You this week, and there's a coupon in there that I can't decipher. It's a manufacturer's q, exp 10/31/12, for any one Kikkoman Sauce or Glaze, and it reads, "SECRET SAVINGS Save at least 50 cents or get up to $1.25 off when you buy..." To the side, it has a blank line for the cashier to write in the "coupon value".

Does this mean that I won't know how the value of the coupon until after the cashier scans it? Did some copies of the magazine end up with higher value q's than others? That seems unlikely to me, since they probably put together the magazine and then print out millions of copies (I doubt they'd insert different bar codes into different batches, but then, I'm not in the magazine printing business, so I don't know.)

Has anyone tried to use this q yet? It'd be nice to know in advance what I'd actually be paying for the sauce instead of being surprised at the register.

Bklyn, not the best price, but safe meat -- HT has chuck steaks for around $3.99. The butchers are very accommodating about grinding them for you into chopped meat.

Sarah - you cannot use manufacturer coupons on the Aisle50 deals. Sorry.

unc - Although CVS deals do often trigger when you a within cents of meeting the requirement, I don't think the Rite Aid deals do, but it's been a while since I have shopped RA. You may want to call corp to see if it should have triggered, but based on other RA policies, you probably have to have at least $15 worth to get the +UP.

Someone please shed some light on this. I went to rite aid and bought Nivea body wash they were 4.99. They had a sign up that said spend 15 on Nivea get 5ups. Well of course my total came to 14.97 and it didn't trigger the reward is this right. I know at CVS sometimes it will trigger the reward if it's close to the total amount spent.
