Here is your weekly list of good sale prices for the basics at our various grocery & drug stores including milk, meat, produce, & more. This list includes deals from the sales ads, with a few regular priced items included.

The big news this week is that Harris Teeter and Lowes Foods are BOTH offering the Super Doubles promotion. They are doubling coupons that are $1.98 or less. For all the details and the very long Super Doubles lists, click the links in the box above for the specific store deals. The list below does not include all the super doubles deals. There are just too many of them…which is a good thing!

Kroger, CVS, Rite Aid, Walgreens deals are valid through 4/21.

Harris Teeter, Lowes Foods, Food Lion and Aldi deals are valid through 4/24.

    Egglands Best eggs are $2.29 at HT this week, and I have a $1 off 2 coupon that doubled, making them $1.29, which isn't spectatular, but it's a fine price for Egglands Best, and it made them cheaper than about everything else I've seen.

    Also, lacking an Aldi's nearby, and really, just not driving almost 20 miles round trip to get to HT for milk, I tried my local Rite Aid. Their milk was $3.49 a gallon, but I'm a gold member, so with my 20% off it's only $2.79.

    The Aldi on Wake Forest Drive has avocados for $.89 each, every week. I don't know if this is the case at the other Aldi stores, but it hasn't changed at this one since February!

    Don't forget the free Pepsi Next 2 liter at Krogers...if you add the electronic coupon to your Kroger Card!
