I went to Aldi for the first time yesterday. Wow! I was so impressed with their produce prices! I can't believe I had never taken the time to go there before now, but so glad I did, and now know it's worth the time to make the trip. Would love to have one in the 40/42 area though :)

Corn is cheaper at Kroger this week .19 an ear!

For those that want to take advantage of the onions this week - you CAN chop and freeze them for cooking and mixing in with recipes :) If you have a vacuum bag system, all the better as you won't have freezer burn/crystals build up.

Love HT folks, they know their stuff :) They always have the answers I'm looking for!

Going to take advantage of these great onion prices this week and chop away - at least I'll have an excuse to cry LOL

Thanks one_2. I think they all offer their Aldi tote bags for sale. They are in the ad this week for $1.99.

    Hi Faye,
The Aldi's on NewBern Ave in Raleigh, does offer plastic/freezer and re-usable tote type bags at the checkout for a small price. I'm not sure if other Aldi's offers bags for sale or not.
