ALDI deals 4/11 - 4/17

Aldi produce deals are excellent this week, as always. You'll find great buys on strawberries, pineapple, pears, oranges, mangoes and cantaloupe. The Wednesday meat deal is also very impressive: $1.69/lb for boneless chicken breasts!

These deals are valid 4/11 - 4/17.

Weekly deals

Wednesday Special Meat Buy: Fresh chicken breasts, $1.69/lb - a very good price!

Strawberries .99/lb

Pineapple, .99 each

Pears, .99 for a 2 lb package!

Oranges, $1.49 for a 4 lb bag!

Mangoes, .49 each

Cantaloupe, .99 each

Reminders:

* ALDI does not accept manufacturer coupons

* You will need to bring your own bags to bag your groceries. They do not provide any.

* If you wish to use a grocery cart, you will need to deposit a quarter into the cart machine and you will get it back when you return the cart.

* They accept cash, debit and EBT cards as forms of payment. They do not accept credit cards or checks.

If anyone picks up the strawberries, can you post to say if they are Florida or California berries? I don't want to drive all the way to Aldi (17 miles one way from home, 8 or so from work) if they are CA ones. The CA ones have been awful lately. The last pack I had to throw away after eating a couple of berries they were so bad. Thanks!

Strait...while I haven't picked up my berries yet to report back to you, I agree that the California berries aren't great. I make fresh strawberry pies with whipped cream or a small batch of fresh strawberry topping with the "duds."

straitlover-take the Aldi flyer to Walmart and have them pricematch since their produce *might* be a bit better :) WM's pineapples and mangos are larger so you will get more for your money :)

I don't like to go pick the first coule of weeks of the season. Every time I've gone, the berries aren't sweet enough for me. I plan on going this weekend or early next week.

Hey Gals/Guys! :)

Does anyone know if the Wednesday Special Meat Buy: Fresh chicken breasts, $1.69/lb is *JUST* for Wednesday? Or does the deal last until next week?

Some of their strawberries haven't been the best, but I find that if you rinse them real good, cut them up and put some sugar on them, they are quite tasty! My daughters love them! I can't wait to go strawberry picking either...but we're too busy this weekend.
