kathy11-Thanks so much!

Colonial Baptist Church in Cary has an entire program dedicated to special needs kids. That may be a nice option, too.

Halfmarathonmom- I'm sending you a email now. Thanks

First assembly of God is one church that has special services for autistic kids and will take them. I am sure there are other ones as well. Sounds silly but worth checking out. There is such a growing trend to minister to the growing autistic population that I would expect there to be far more options in this arena than before. As for me, I managed to overcome being a Methodist one week and Baptist the next and made it just fine into adulthood. Most days.

hollyjenkins-thanks so much; I will check it out.

heremeaj-You crack me up, lol. I don't know about the vacation Bible school for her autistic son but it's a great idea if he is able to deal with it.

jdouglas13 - thanks for the butter Q info, I would have missed that deal and it is a great one

shelllauren - I know that people are paid to work from home to log in and answer questions (Ask.com, etc.) but not sure how they get those jobs. They are paid by the number of questions they answer and they work as much or as little as they want to work. The pay was not high from what I remember (used to know someone who worked there) but it was flexible and at home. A good solution for her is to enroll them week after week in every vacation bible school in town - free kidcare - and she would have more time to work. I am from a small town and we were all enrolled that way all summer. Our mothers were smart!!

Why are we getting the 3-18 Sunday coupon preview today? Very weird - someones wires are crossed! Made me think we had coupons tomorrow. Waaaaaaa-----

shellauren - i listen to clark howard and he talks about having some links to legitmate work from home companies on his website.
